Empowerment

My “Word’ for 2025 is EMPOWERMENT. 

In a nutshell, this is the year to walk in the Glory and Power of the Holy Spirit! I believe last year’s word DWELL laid the foundation for EMPOWERMENT to take place.

Here is the key verse I’ve chosen for 2025:

“Then shall your light break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness shall go before you; the GLORY of the Lord shall be your rear guard.” Isaiah 58:8 (ESV) (Emphasis mine.)

Here are some other verses that have been impressed upon me for various aspects of my life and ministry:

Empowerment: Acts 1:8 – “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…” (ESV)

For my family: Isaiah 58: 12 – “And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations, you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in.” (ESV)

For Work: Colossians 3:17 – “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through Him.” (ESV)

For Ministry: 1 Peter 5: 2 – 3 – “Shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain but eagerly.” (ESV)

It’s going to take intentionally spending more time in His presence, in the Word, and in prayer. I can’t wait!
