WHISPERING WINDS – finally on its way!

Book launch on April 2

WHISPERING WINDS, Book three in the WIND OVER MARSHDALE Series, is finally ready for release!

It’s the story of Tanzi Lone Wolf, a young First Nations woman traumatized by the past who finds healing from an unexpected source – God! The story takes place in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and many of the locations are based on real places I frequented when living there myself back in my university days. The train bridge, her apartment, the cafe where she works, the pizza restaurant–even her love interest’s acreage, all have roots in reality.

I started writing this book a really long time ago – about the same time I started writing Wind Over MarshdaleOriginally, it was called Spirit’s Call and the two stories were completely unrelated. I ended up weaving some scenes from Spirit’s Call into Wind Over Marshdale, and after that book was published I had an epiphany that the two stories should actually be connected. So, when I wrote the short sequel, Lone Wolf, it was a simple matter of bridging the two with a common character – Thomas Lone Wolf, who appears in all three books.

While the book has been on my computer for a long time, it seemed to take a back-burner to other works in progress. But no longer! I am happy to say it is finally ready for release on April 2! You can pre-order it on Amazon.

Here’s more about the book:

Tanzi Lone Wolf is a strong independent woman, at least on the surface. Part of her armor includes never letting anyone get close. But fate has other ideas. A chance meeting with a handsome stranger turns her world upside down, while increasing family struggles, including her brother’s wrongful imprisonment, have her living on a knife’s edge. Can she undo the shackles of her childhood trauma and allow love in?

WHISPERING WINDS is the third book in the WIND OVER MARSHDALE Series, following Tanzi Lone Wolf’s journey of healing and her quest for the acceptance that only God can give.

Thematically, I think the main message is one of “healing”. Here’s the verse I chose for the dedication page:

For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the LORD, because they have called you an outcast... Jeremiah 30:17a ESV
