My Mother the Man-Eater Re-Release!

And made the top 100 in Christian Romance

I am so excited to report that My Mother the Man-Eater was re-released this past Saturday!

The book was first published in 2010 by Eloquent Books, a subsidiary of Strategic Book Publishing. Unfortunately, it went out of print a few years ago. Fortunately, that also meant I received the rights back and could make the many revisions I had been longing to make for some time. You can read more about the process in a previous blog post entitled: MY MOTHER THE MAN-EATER TAKES ANOTHER BITE.

I am also more than pleased to report on the launch itself. Yes, MAN-EATER made it into Amazon’s top 100 in Christian romance!

To be honest, I kind of gave up later on launch day since the book didn’t seem to be performing very well. To be frank, I didn’t get the number of reviews I had hoped. (Certainly not equal to the ARCs I gave away.) But, I know that is all part of the game of numbers when launching a book. (Or any type of marketing and promotion.) So, I quit checking and went to watch TV instead, around 8 pm. Sometime after midnight, when I was ready to hit the hay, I thought I’d check one more time – and I’m glad I did!

I took a screenshot of the book at #34 in Christian Romance (the closest to the top that I saw) as well as another at #53.

One new review from yesterday said, “The title makes this book sound awful – but IT’S NOT!” The reviewer went on to say,“…all through this book is the suggestion of grace – and it is FABULOUS.”

If you were not able to be part of the launch, you can still get your copy at a very reasonable price at most online retailers. (Amazon isn’t the only game in town.) As always, an honest review is worth more than GOLD to an author, so I appreciate those as well.

The MY MOTHER THE MAN-EATER website page has all the buying options.

Thank you to those that participated in the launch!
