Keeping Up With Updates

A few weeks ago I mentioned a flurry of busyness because I had some new releases coming out in July. I likened it to “spinning plates”, which is an apt description! (Frayed Strands, a three-novella set based on characters from the Three Strand Cord Series, in case you missed it!)

Last week I was doing a few more tasks that need to take place once a new release comes out. Updating my Media Kit and CV, and adding them to Goodreads and Bookbub, I also needed to get the paperback version of FRAYED STRANDS up and ready for sale. Next week I will be registering the entire series with the Library of Congress. In the new year, I will also need to add them to the Public Lending Rights Commission and Access Copyright here in Canada.

There is a lot involved beyond writing, publishing, and even marketing the book! It is all part of the writing life for today’s author, but I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of all of it!
